Serious damage after thunderstorm in my Town

Dear all,

Not sure how much your News are reprting about the nature catastrophe in Germany. Therefore I do like to tell you: Yesterday evening we had a thunderstorm, hail and level 1 Hurricane in Germany Reutlingen, Tübingen and the place I am living.



We never have hurricane in Germany!!! Me and my family where sitting in the cellar waiting until everything was over – like in a bad movie.
After all, we are ok and have been lucky (only a little bit scared now) since “only” our backlight window at our cars is in pieces.

Our Neighbor’s houses did look much more damaged, poor fellows.

    WOW, what devastation, so lucky you are OK. Cars can be replaced .... people, not so easily.

    Au weia Sandra! Gut dass Ihr o.k. seid und Euer Haus o.k. ist.. ich kenn das gut, wir hatten letzten August hier einen Hurricane.. hier hat es Riesenschäden gegeben in unserer Gegend.. wir hatten auch Glück mit lediglich einer eingebrochen kleinen Glasscheibe...
    aber in unserer Strasse waren fast alle Dächer beschädigt und
    im Ort gab es auch ganz arge Schäden zwei ältere Gebäude sind total zusammengekracht...das sah aus! und die Bäume im Wald..frage nicht!
    Ja da merken wir, wie klein und unbeholfen wir den Naturgewalten gegenüber stehen....

    bei uns wird heute auch wieder Unwetter vorhergesagt...

    ich bange jetzt jedesmal !

    Oh ja - hier kamen auch Golfball große Hagelkörner aber wir hatten riesen Glück - wenige KM weiter sah es ganz anders aus - die Natur rächt sich für alles was man ihr über so lange Zeit angetan hat.

    OMGoodness... where the hell did that come from ???!!!!! So glad you are OK but the damage it caused is awful. I feel so sorry for the people :-(
